He just posted a video today, looks like he might be loosing his business there in NYC, apparently they screwed up his business licence renewal, and there isn't enough time to get it fixed before he has to shut down, he's thinking of leaving the city.

I understand there's lots of that going around.
(Sorry TDA/Chris. What's your take on it?)

He's Purposely Not "Taping" the "homeless" and likely avoiding many others. In rare cases that is mention, he basically said so for just for "privacy" reasons.
Plus in very short version... "Filming" anyone is one thing but using the film to make money is often a problem. Is Why most business need Release Forms and more for anyone they show on TV YT etc.
He's likely avoiding many Business Signs etc to avoid © and TM problems as well. Example: Many building in NYC and other cities are TM too and big headaches to publish photos or film w/ them.
IOW While you have "Rights" to film or photo most things, buildings and people in a pubic space, you publish the same then you could get sued. And why many others use Stock or File Photo and "Film" to make YT videos from Getty, Stockphoto.com and similar services.
And this is Not a new problem. These "rules" have been in place for many years to Decades.
That's completely ignoring many people will hurt you taking pictures or video right then.------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)

Thanks Ogre.. I did hear him mention a few times that he didn’t want to film them.. I was just surprised by the lack of them… there were several times recently where I thought there was some kind of event that took place (the amount of bodies just laying on the floor or leaning unconscious against scaffolding - it looked like some kinda gas took them out…

Yeah i saw that this afternoon.. Looks like everything is ok, i guess someone, possibly a fan, that saw his previous video somehow got it fixed for him, which is great. Louis seems like he would be a pretty good guy to work for. Hes pretty strict, but he cares about his employees.
