Wish Art Bell was still around... (Page 1/1)

His show would be interesting during the past few years...

I used to love his show. He was very popular among truck drivers.

Just as with Rush, Art has been replaced but will never be equaled.

In the old days of AM and FM radio, especially at night on the road, you turned the dial looking for intriguing dialogue or subject matter.

I used to listen to him when I was on first watch. Not because I believed anything he had on his show, but it was pure comedy for me. WAYYYY better than SNL.

Another guy took his place for awhile. Not nearly as good to.
Some of the people that called in back in the day, would fit right in with all the conspiracy theorists we see all over the place now.

I think so, at least for a few years. I have lived in an area with poor AM reception for the last 15 years so I was never able to listen to it much but did before that when we lived out West.
Definitely entertainment.

Loved Art Bell. The local AM talk station I listen to does old Art Bell shows once in awhile in place of George Nori. Usually weekends. I listen to them when I can't sleep in the middle of the night.

I think the only show that made an impression on me regarded a guy claiming he made a machine that could see through walls and even could penetrate the ground for a number of feet sort of like a flash light. He offered no evidence or understanding that had much depth of knowledge. I was irritated at myself for listening.

Yes, like the mask wearers, injectionists and herd mentality.
