"Handy Andy"

He has a sweet tooth (eye?) for "eye candy" of a certain kind.

I thought it was a good resignation speech, though. Imaginative. "Style points awarded."

Of course you did.

So, what happens next? Will he now fade in to obscurity, or will the resurrection begin?
And what of frere Fredo?

They're saying that the soon to be former Governor hazed a woman on his staff (I guess) by demanding that she sing "Danny Boy" for him. Demanding that she rehearse it and sing it real good for him.

I wonder if there's a recording of that, lurking somewhere, and waiting to be discovered by the news media.

I wonder how well she performed.

My guess is: close, but no cigar.

I liked his daily or near daily Covid briefings during the first part of the pandemic. They were a "fixture" on MSNBC.

Now they say --and I don't dispute this--that he did much wrong in the way of nursing home patients and exploited the situation in a number of ways, including turning it into an opportunity for himself to create and publish a book about himself and the job he was doing.

I can't help but wonder if, even despite all that, and despite whatever may happen to him now going forward, if there are going to be people who look back at his Covid briefings and say that he became an "influencer" who encouraged other people across the nation to think about Covid (in particular) and pubic health-related issues more generally, and think about all that in ways that were good, and clearly a lot more sensible than the nonsense that was coming from DJT.

Even if he was lying in some ways about what he was actually doing.

I look to academia to publish articles and books that will consider this idea. Perhaps it's already happening.

I don't know if he was that impactful as a COVID-19 influencer, rinse.

After all there are only 10 or 20 people that watch CNN.....😉
