Not Fiero related but, I'm curious.
Have had this notion in my head for a long time that a typical hearse if the roof line behind the back seat was removed and appropriate modifications were made, it would make a great city pickup. Should have a decent suspension, be able to haul a decent load, still ride like a Cadillac and be pretty comfy for running around doing suburbia type taskings.
Anyone have any idea of how much "body" work would be required to turn a hearse into a pick up? Obviously, any other bodies still occupying the hearse need to be removed first.  The attached link is what made me think of this. Notice that nice looking hearse in the back ground. Oh and BTW, anyone looking for a nice, New Old Stock Casket, well there ya go.

More than a few others thought it was a good idea too....so can't be all that difficult!  With time, patience and cash...not much you can't do.

(for some reason, many if not most contemporary hearse are now light colored instead of the traditional dark colors.)

Not sure what Joe's words have to do with this or what you're trying to say, I'm simply not that deep. Maybe I'm just dense. But, I do think that's one cool looking caddy pick up.
