The plan (Page 1/3)

I doubt if there is anyone who doesn't think Joe should, and will be removed from office, soon. Of course that will leave us with President Harris, who would obviously follow Joe out the door in short order.

I was talking with a friend the other day and the topic of Harris' choice for VP came up. He said something that chilled me to the bone. He suggested that Harris might choose Hillary Clinton.

It could be that that was the plan from the outset. It would explain all of the unbelievably stupid decisions that have been made over the last 14 months. By hook or by crook, Hillary will be president.

Honestly, I do not know how the process works. But does the VP (stand in President) get to choose the next VP? Or should there be a special election for example in California we are voting to recall the Governor and if successful the voters will vote in the replacement. If biden is removed, do the voters NOT have a say anymore? I was under the impression that positions in Congress are pre-designated as replacements for such events? Am I wrong?

The only way Nancy would be able to become VP is if she was nominated and voted in by Congress. Now if both President and VP are outed at the same time then Nancy is in.
As for HC, do you think congress would vote her in?

Section 2 of the same 25th amendment that could remove Biden, and then Harris, provides that the president will choose his (or her in this scenario) VP.

It would take a bit of time. After Joe is removed, Harris would have to nominate a VP who would have to be confirmed. Then, Harris could be removed, leaving her choice to ascend to the highest office in the land.

Remember Nelson Rockefeller?

Ford (Nixon's VP) became pres on Aug 9 and nominated Rockefeller on Aug 20. Rockefeller was sworn in on Dec 19.

Well, the dems do control both the Senate and House...so.
The question is do they agree on those that could be nominated? And what will the general population think or do about any such confirmations? Will the voters then vote out dems from Congress, or just role with it?

I would suggest that if Willie's nightmare were to occur, you'll see bloodshed in the streets.
Yes, I do believe that.

The fly in the ointment for the Dems is the fact that the balance of the senate could change as soon as Harris becomes Pres. As VP, she is the deciding vote. Without a VP, that changes.

Does anyone believe that what the people want holds any sway over what the people get?

Yes, the new president gets to select their new VP. Congresd has to confirm them.

Only way Pelosi is in the running currently is if both Joe and Kamala get "removed" at the same time, bringing her up to Presidrnt.
