They don’t believe in science... or spelling.

An unvaccinated woman was arrested in Hawaii after entering the state with a fake COVID-19 vaccination card that misspelled “Moderna” as “Maderna,” authorities said.

The Illinois resident, 24-year-old Chloe Mrozak, arrived in Oahu early last week and managed to bypass Hawaii’s 10-day mandatory quarantine by submitting false medical records to the state’s Safe Travels Program, according to court records obtained by local media Tuesday.

Following a tip about the suspect’s scheme, investigators took a closer look into her vaccination card and immediately noticed a major red flag. The card indicated that Mrozak received two doses of a “Maderna” vaccine at a Delaware facility run by the National Guard, records show.

Investigators checked the document’s legitimacy with Delaware and learned the state had no record of her vaccination, according to Hawaii News Now, which first reported the story.

Mrozak also lied about where she was staying in Hawaii, falsely telling authorities at the airport that she would be at a Holiday Inn Express hotel, according to police.

She was arrested Saturday while trying to board a flight back home at Inouye International Airport and was charged with falsifying vaccination documents, a misdemeanor.

The suspect reportedly insisted that she did get vaccinated at her doctor’s office and that she paid for the shot — even though all coronavirus vaccines available in the U.S. are free.

Just thought this was interesting. I don't have a problem with her arrest, fake IDs should have some penalty whether it's a fake COVID card or, a fake Driver's license, fake Passport, fake birth certificate, fake medical degree, fake pilot's license, ect.... Get caught and pay the piper. Don't like the Hawaiian rules, don't go there. That's not to suggest I agree with their rules but, I don't get a say in that. I do have a problem with doctors selling and injecting saline solution and then giving out fake COVID cards. Fits the definition of Medical Malpractice to me.

I just scanned my co-workers card, used Photoshop to cover up his info, and mine works great. Everything is even spelled correctly.

I'm sure that tactic or similar ones will be tried by many. I really don't care if others get vaccinated or not but, can't figure out why anyone would fake it.
Just doesn't make sense to me. Is this for a religious or health exemption?

Maybe after another year I'll get vaccinated. I'm waiting to see any more "issues" that may arise from those vaccinated. In the meantime, I just continue to wear a mask.

Masks? They know people who aren't injected aren't wearing masks. They knew it when they said it would be fine that injected people can take them off.
It went into the decision. Otherwise they would've erred on safety to continue mandatory masks. Screw the masks.

Your choice, wouldn't advise using that fake card on a trip to Hawaii.
And a few other destinations or maybe, transportation to and from that area. Honestly don't know if TSA is checking for those COVID cards but, I suspect they will be.

If you ignore State and Federal Charges for Making and Using that...

Just 1 example: In NYC one NJ seller of Bogus Cards and 14+ Buyers have been arrested and charge w/ Felonies.

Very Likely Other States are or soon arresting buyers of that fake card too as DA's often pass names to other DA and State's AG.
