I'll probably go with a BMG extruder (or something) configured for direct drive. TPU hates the bowden tubes, and silk isn't real fond of them either. Have a Creality all-metal and an upgraded Nema 17 on my Mega S and that was a HUGE improvement. AND a V6 hot end, V5's are too damn finicky with the TO errors. Easy fix but irritating when it quits 1/2 way through a job. [This message has been edited by MidEngineManiac (edited 09-27-2021).]

when you add up the cost of an all metal hot end and the bmg extruder your close to 2x the cost of a hemera extruder setup.

thats the 3rd party people. I have had so many hair pulling evenings with those knock off pieces i will only buy from the origional manufacturer. Yes it costs 2-3x more but it will always work and if i have issues i can get good support from the companies.

It'll be here next week sometime. Plan is once I got that up and running smoothly, I'll sell my mid-size Mega and get a mini-delta type (5-6" around). They do the small stuff faster and I dont tie up the big one for small pieces orders.
