We saw it happening decades ago, but over the last few years, the transition has become complete, fundamentally transformed.
They have been sending me emails for years, and they have become progressively "metrosexual".

That has all the tell-tale marks of marketing people about it.
In my corporate career days I was occasionally forced to work with marketing people.
My deep loathing for their species remains to this day.

Sales department is below earthworm on the respect scale, closer to sea-slug and skunk vomit,... and at about the same level as lawyers and used-car people.

I said marketing and if you had ever been a senior level exec. in a publically traded company you know the important difference.

At least Home Depot is promoting their clothes as work clothes. Hardly Davisdon has become a Boutique brand.
This is why I will never wear anything that says "Harley Davidson". If you see me with a leather vest, shoot me.

I think they have been for decades. Probably half of the Harley dealer near me is for "junk". Clothes, wallets, vests, etc.

I had to look closer.
Their market (Boomer) is dying off. The old Xer is too. HD has to sell to someone. If it's meteosexuals, is there something wrong with that?
