If cleared, Merck’s drug would be the first pill shown to treat COVID-19, a potentially major advance in efforts to fight the pandemic. All COVID-19 therapies now authorized in the U.S. require an IV or injection.
Merck says experimental pill cuts worst effects of COVID-19
WASHINGTON (AP) — Merck & Co. said Friday that its experimental COVID-19 pill reduced hospitalizations and deaths by half in people

Merck has already begun producing molnupiravir. The small brown capsules must be taken twice a day for five days. The company predicts producing 10 million courses of treatment by the end of the year.

The results were released by the company and have not been peer reviewed. Merck said it plans to present them at a future medical meeting.

I think Phizer is the company making a version of ivermectin to treat COVID-19. But you can't have an unpatented ivermectin because they can't money off of it.
Just another indicator of the scam they're making this into.

So you would take this after getting covid to fight it? Also wonder how long it stays effective?

Agreed, too many people have suffered short and long term injury due to COVID, too much money has been spent on hospitals stays by COVID patients, too many have died. If this will help, I'm all for it.

And yet too many people have suffered short and long term adverse health effects from taking these injections.

Plus look at the 25% increase in heart attacks in Scotland over the past year.

A study in Israel showed that the injected are 7 times more likely to have contracted or spread covid 19.

I guess that depends on what source of information one chooses to believe.

If it works as predicted by the trials, it will be a real game changer.
Hopefully it will tho I already see some on social media claiming the process it uses to force the virus to make so many 'mistakes' is going to cause a supervirus of some kind even worse than the Delta variant.

I have also seen comments on other boards claiming the Merck capsule contains ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. I've seen zero evidence to support such a claim.
