Items linked to Brian Laundrie, potential human remains found in Florida park

"We are working diligently to get those answers for you," McPherson said, adding that the items and remains were found in a swampy area — home to alligators, snakes, coyotes and other wildlife — that had previously been underwater. "It's likely the team will be on site for several days."

Now if he was REAL smart, that's just some junk he didnt care about and a random homeless dude to throw the investigators off the track. He would be sitting on a tropical beach somewhere.

IF he was smart, but dumb-ass went running into the bush swamp unprepared.

I have heard reports that he was an "experienced outdoorsman". Time will tell.

DNA will be checked, we will know if the parts found were part of his body or someone else's. I'm curious as to what parts they found.
The fact that his own parents were the "finders" makes me very suspicious of their role in all of this.

The remains have been confirmed. The reason I suspect alligators is their propensity to stash large prey underwater for leisurely snacking. His bones were found in an area that had been underwater.

There most experienced outdoors entities are the ones that live, eat and survive there 24/7 and that does not include humans.
It does include reptiles, amphibians, large serpents, large felines and bears, and all are known inhabitants of Carlton Reserve..
'Something' in Carlton is probably fat and happy, not to be confused with this Carlton.

Having a forensic pathologist in our extended family, I have it on excellent authority that cadaver dogs can routinely smell human remains submerged in water, even from a distance.

Can they smell him inside Albert's stomach?

Mostly, I just like to think that gator grub would be a fitting demise for such a lowlife.
