One cause of China's lack of shipping products lately? (Page 1/2)

Apparently they caused their own power shortage by banning imported Aussie coal.

Their weakness is communist pride?

Just waiting for China to invade Australia, under the justification that the Chinese people are 'cold and starving'

The only "pride" in communism comes from those few at the very top running the show who don't feel the misery, poverty and hunger it causes.

With the large #s of ships from Asia waiting to UNLOADED at US ports, I don't think the biggest part of the 'shipping product problem' is on China's end.
The Chinese backog at their ports appear to be because of a Sept 15 typhoon that hit in Ningbo and Sahingai (operations have resumed at both those ports) and the port closure at Yantian is caused by a covid outbreak, not a shortage of coal. (Ningbo is now also affected by Covid)

Well "Pitiful Pete" Buttigieg says that it is a direct result of America's newfound prosperity at the hands of Brandon Biden. The ships just can't keep up with the demand. So there.

(he also says that he needed maternity leave because apparently somebody just had a baby)

I saw that news pop up along with this photo and the first question that comes to mind is why was this photo taken in a hospital bed?

It must have been the psychiatric ward.

Pitiful Petey's attributions for the state of this country's supply chain issues are just as suspect as that photo.

I can tell you from experience that when any covid cases are detected the authorities shut everything down. It usually doesn't last too awful long but they are super aggressive. Right now the hotspots are Lanzhou and the Inner Mongolia region. If I travel there I cannot leave the crew hotel and must be tested daily. I'm in Shenzhen tonight and they require 3 day testing.

Also, China has authorized a 3rd booster shot of their traditional vaccine. It's only for Chinese currently. No reason was given why I can't get it other than because I'm not a local. If I get the virus my flying career is finished here. They will not approve medical certificates of anyone who has had it and recovered.

Hmm. What science are they following in that case? Not allowing recovered people to fly?

I didn't catch the sarcasm of the Chinese invading, but maybe it's there. Anyhow, Chinese don't invade, do they?
