Talk about "Build Back Better" and becoming a global leader in responding to Climate Change . . . one of the narrators of this recent History Channel segment said this, about Genghis Khan (1162-1227) and I'd not seen this kind of comparison before:

[Genghis Khan's rule] extinguished so many human lives that the amount of carbon in the atmosphere caused by people breathing was reduced by a staggering 700 million tons.


The next narrator:

quote
[Genghis Khan] was able to murder 11 percent of the world's population and this led to Climate Change.


There isn't any elaboration on the Climate Change (allegedly) brought on by Genghis Khan in this recently produced History Channel episode.
