Republicans tout benefits of American Rescue Plan, which no Republican voted for. (Page 1/1)

Three of the Republicans that Chris Hayes name-checks are Governors, and were Governors when President Biden's American Rescue Plan was voted up by Congress and delivered to his desk. So they couldn't personally have voted on it, one way or the other. Nevertheless, I think this is worth thinking about.

I think it would not be that hard to search online and find other Republicans in Congress who voted against the American Rescue Plan, and after voting against it, have been reminding their constituents of what specifically is being done on their behalf, using funds from the American Rescue Plan. Maybe their public remarks about whatever it is they are focusing on also make it clear that there's funding involved from the American Rescue Plan. Maybe not. Case by case.

Governors always like "free" money, but to what benefit?

All the problems could have been solved by simply lifting all the draconian restrictions that were being imposed on small businesses.

When I think about all the devastation that occurred as a result of the pandemic to small businesses and our economic progress, it really kills me.

When we now know that the virus came from Wuhan, and we also know that unregulated offices within the U.S. government sponsored it... I can only come to the conclusion that this was inherently intentional.

The problems we face right now are not hard problems. Democrat politicians either have to be the absolute stupidest people on Earth, and I mean that sincerely, or... all of this is intentional to destroy the United States and other free-market societies, to pave way for a more compliant global society that can be controlled and manipulated.

Feeling negative about the economy? Not Paul Krugman. Just in case anyone wants to brush up on what one of those "bla bla bla" liberals are saying about it. "Red Team research."

"How Is the U.S. Economy Doing?"
Paul Krugman for the New York Times; December 9, 2021.
