Can I stick a magnet on the outside of my microwave oven? (Page 1/2)

I wanted to stick a magnetic towel bar on the side of my microwave, but then I had second thoughts, so I ask the great oracle at Google and came up with everything from "Don't worry about it, ya freekin' snowflake!" to "You know that's what caused all of those Fieros to catch fire, right?"

I always believe everything everyone here says, so what say you? Will I continue to live a long, blissful life or will I die of Omicron, by Thursday?

I see no warning sticker on mine over the matter.

I've had flexible magnets on the side of my microwave for 15 years......the whole side is covered with them.

Now that you mention it, my parents always had the pizza place's magnets on their microwave.

Now, try it with the magnets INSIDE the microwave door?

It might be time to replace the I Like Ike sticker on the fridge.
