New cases in NY will soon be 20,000 25,000 a DAY.
Then, the number will plateau, because of limits to the ability to test in addition to them limiting who they test.
Then who the hell knows what's gonna happen. BLECH.
This sucks.
But at least it sounds like this variant tends to stay in the upper respiratory tract.

His speech should be simple. Wear a mask from now on when around people and ban global travel for 2 years. Every time the mask mandates loosen or are removed, **** hits the fan. 100% of the population can be vaccinated and cases will still spike.

Perfect timing. Our daughter is scheduled to fly into Newark from London on Wed. There is a big outbreak there. It looks like England is going to ban international flights at the least.
If she does manage to get here, they may not let her back in right away, putting her job in jeopardy. Haven't seen her in nearly three years - bummer.

That is the replacement for heroin. That's also why they vacated Afghanistan and the poppy fields that the USA allowed back in. The Taliban wouldn't allow poppy growth where they were in control.

In NY, Non-Covid Deaths are up 30% from last year. Mostly due to ODs.
