Expensive battery replacement ?

We can fix that !

22k for a battery pack. That's more than I've paid for a whole car. Ever!

Don't worry inflation is transitory.

It'll be 25,000 next year.

No sheet on that.

I'm putting longer-range batteries into the bike sometime this winter and looked into Lithium.....1500 bucks. On a $1,000 escape-toy.

NOT gonna happen. I'll get 30aH gel or wet for 1/3 of that or so.

Pommijätkät channel is a license demolition company
Both groups work together often.

Tesla isn't only one w/ little or no value for Used Car Markets just for that reason.
More E-cars the more Junk cars going to scrap very soon.
And While have many fires w/ OE batteries, soon have problems as more people try to install DIY and 3rd party rebuilt battery units.

For all the hype around them, EV's are still not a practical transportation option for most.

They are expensive toys with expensive repairs and upkeep and expensive prices for what you get.

For most there are only 2 attractions. The government subsidies to buy the 4-wheel ones, and the lack of regulation/control around the 2 wheel ones. ONLY reason I bought electric instead of gas is I don't have to bother with insurance, licencing, inspections, or any of it. It's treated like a bicycle legally and regulatory-wise, which brings back a LOT of the freedom feeling. For what I have spent on this thing so far, I could easily be on a 500-650 cruiser of some sort.

Think of all of the poor Bolivian lithium miners that you will put out of work if you stop buying electric cars.

They will have to go back to burning down rain forests for a living.

Depend where you are...
In many US States, motorize bike rules depend on engine size.
Example: Over 55cc or 750w needs to register insured etc as Moped. Need a normal drivers license too.
More power or speeds over 35mph then many states treat as Motor Cycles.
