After watching about 25 minutes of it so far, I'm not so sure...
Spoilers:
Color is "off" - As in, it looks too "normal" It's not green or blue shifted at all (not yet, anyway)
Music is "lacking"
Characters seem kinda "meh", Action feels off, machine guns from a few feet away and they keep missing.
Sound also seems off, can't hear some of what they are saying.
Doesn't seem as bad as some of the stuff that was in the latest Star Wars Trilogy, though.
Feels like a fan-made movie so far.

Started watching the originals last night. Probably finish the first this evening and the remainder and new one this weekend.
I'm digging The Wheel of Time.

Only watched the first episode of that show so far, but I did enjoy the way they "got them goin'" - I went in blind and didn't expect what happened at the end of the episode.
I'm a bit further in to the new Matrix movie, it's improving... Lets see how it plays out.

They managed to pull it off.
Its a different world in 2021 than 1999.
Second half of the movie was much better than the first.
Wasn't tainted the way the latest Star Wars trilogy was.
The first Matrix movie was still the best, didn't 'love' the second or third, but I definitely enjoyed this one, minor criticisms aside.
The Digital Alchemist is pleased.

Yeah im gonna watch this tonight. Been looking forward to it. Big fan of the original trilogy. I think i saw the 1st one in the theaters like 26 times, lol.. Hoping this new one answers some questions, and gives the story a good finish.

Ok just watched it.. I really liked it, and thought they did a good job with the story. I'll try to give my opinion without giving much away. I agree it a little bit slow at the start, but the original movie was like that as well.. It basically follows the dichotomy of the original movie. Neo living his normal life as Tom Anderson, but senses something isn't right about the world. Same basic story concept, just done a bit differently. And i really enjoyed the ending, was a good way to end the Matrix story.
But the movie did what i wanted it to do. Answered some questions about what happened to Neo at the end of Revelations. Even went into showing the after effects that Neo's actions had on the relationship between the humans and machines. It wasn't quite as action packed as the past movies, but it had enough, and what was there was good and entertaining to watch. (when all the people started jumping out the windows, that was pretty freaky). And i loved the Merovingian's short, but awesome appearance.
Overall a good fun movie. Which seems to be rare these days. Think I'll watch it again just to get more of the little details i may have missed on my first viewing.

It got better the more I watched, and it was a lot better overall with a second viewing.
