You're missed the fact that Tax Evasion is how US Gov and others jailed Al Capone and many others since.
Is also used by NYC and others go after people for local Income and Sales Taxes often using "Anonymous Tips" by neighbors etc.
Buying Appliances Computers and more High $ items in low/no Sales Tax areas and live in NYC and other high ST areas then many places require you to report and pay the diff to NYC or other local Govmnt.
Many areas Tippers can get Reward $ by reporting people avoiding paying Income Sales and other Taxes.------------------
