A real rancher, cowboy poet, large animal veterinarian, modern western philosopher.
Probably won't be long for this world.
(EDIT. Evidently, I was mis-informed and he is not in hospice but has just 'retired for health reasons'.)
I can very much relate to many of his stories The Hoodoo cow, wabi sabi, prolapse from the black lagoon, and The blue box of chains.
