Tried to do a screen shot, sorry I'm apparently not up to the task.
Have seen this commercial several times and I'm trying to figure out what the heck it is.

It's very similar to the car I bought for my wife but, the nose and tail are different. Wondering if it isn't a Hollywood modification.

They removed some characteristic identifiers such as the front grill badge and the vents behind the front wheel wells.

What did you buy for your wife?

Another out of production Pontiac Convertible similar in looks to that previously mentioned Red Car. Care to guess?

Yep, it was the only way I could get her and I together into the wind. She doesn't ride with me on the Valkyries. But, we're having fun with it cruising.

We had one too back in the day, I loved that car... but when my daughter was born a couple of years later... we got rid of it because you can't fit three people, and it was my primary car.

My wife said, either the Fiero, or the Solstice... so I kept the Fiero.

This picture was taken in front of an abandoned mansion that is about 2 miles from my house. It's since been leveled and turned into a neighborhood of ~20 homes.

The mansion was in the process of being built, and it was owned by a drug lord who worked for Calderone. The home was complete with a separate four-car garage (if I remember correctly), a massive pool house, and the huge main house which had columns and enormous glass windows. The home even had guard shacks, etc. The whole place was about 90% complete when the drug lord was murdered in Miami in the mid 1980s. Because the home was never officially completed, it never got a certificate of occupancy. The property went to a family-member in New York, and it sat abandoned for like 3-4 decades. There was a huge horse barn in the back which got used for equestrian events, but a hurricane damaged it, and eventually the property was sold.

Yeah, three is a problem for either car.

Actually, I've owned 21 different Fieros, all were 88s notchbacks, most were Formulas. Sold my 3800SC, five speed car late last Spring. It simply wasn't getting driven much. Had I ever been able to get a Convertible Fiero, it would have never been sold. Went about four months with an open spot in the garage, bought another Valkyrie (this one a trike) to ride thinking the wife might ride with me on that. She's a bit scared on two wheels. That wasn't her cup of tea either so, when I found that Solstice I made the deal. She loves riding in it with the top down and I've vowed to never put the top up. It has less miles, is easier to get into and out of with my bad knees and I don't have to duck my head to get in, so it came home with me.

It's not my 3800SC performance wise but, it's another adventure just waiting to go................
