Guns and NFA (Page 1/3)

My Surefire RC2 finally showed up at my local gun store today.

Hopefully the paperwork gets approved quickly. I'm e-filing a Form 4 via a trust. Should get approved in four months.

Here's the host it'll go on (10.3" pistol):

Eventually I'm wanting to build another AR in a rifle configuration. May pick up a .22 cal suppressor also.

I've been toying with getting a can. A while back a friend had a suppressed 10 -22 and about the only sound was the slide clicking back an forth.

Another fun thing, but mainly useful. It is sad that we aren't free enough to have built in hearing protection without signing up on a list, waiting for months, and paying an extra fee to the gov.

I agree. I am looking forward to when the time comes and the worthless SCOTUS finally strikes it down.

Ha!

Hey what paint did you use on the barrel and gas block, like exhaust or caliper paint for heat, for example?

Had a conjugal visit over the weekend. Just DocuSign'd the paperwork a few days ago.

Ceracote does seem like the best option, I havent painted a firearm yet.
