Wicked Game was written and first recorded by Chris Isaak in 1989. This is my cover. I sing and play all of the instruments.

No no, this won't work. There was no Theremin in the song
Actually I loved it. Great work as always.

It is a great song, unusual but simple. A i-VII-IV progression in the Dorian mode. Resolving back to a minor root gives it a melancholy feel. I just don't have the vocal range of Chris Isaak.

To tell you the truth, I had to look that up. I never saw the video. When I look for music videos, I always try to find those with live musicians.

Not many do. It's like Elvis and Roy Orbison had a love child.
Chris Isaak is one of my favorite artists. Saw him live here, probably back in the mid 90's. Great show. I was up in the balcony. Midway through one song he disappeared from the stage, only to come bursting through the upstairs doors into the balcony section (just a few feet from me), where he proceeded to continue with the song. It was a great demonstration of wireless technology. The sound of his voice and guitar (being transmitted to the soundboard) was flawless.
Willie, I admire your ability to play that variety of instruments!

It has a salsa feel to it. It's admirable to go for it and of course I applaud you giving it a go. The vocals tho.
