Surely there's a named study or 2 about the results of labeling & persecuting groups/people with derogatory labels like racist, sexist, anti-semitic, racist, communist, etc.?
A personal observance has been specific to people labeled by the mega-rich 'non-profit' orgs. This recently included Christian groups.
What I've learned is once those people have been labeled, censored and shouted down they have no reason to fear the 3rd rails. They no longer self-censor to appease the mainstream narrative of what they read and investigate. BECAUSE THEY'VE ALREADY LOST SO MUCH, so they start looking into the taboo topics to see what other lies they've learned to believe through propaganda. I've learned a lot of history (and some of their BS too) by giving people the time to explain what they've learned by having looked behind doors we're told are forbidden.
The fact that Big Tech and Big Banking are now persecuting people for thought crime reveals that there is a larger hand guiding this current climate.

The Rules:
"Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have." "Never go outside the expertise of your people." "Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy." "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage." "A good tactic is one your people enjoy." "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag." "Keep the pressure on." "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself. " "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition." "If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counter-side; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative." "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative." "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. "

Dont play their game..
If you react to name-calling in the way we were all programmed to since childhood, you are automatically in denial/defensive mode trying to prove yourself innocent and have given them the upper hand.
Treat it like an ambush and instantly go on the offensive.

Why do people even react to name-calling? Have they no sense of self worth, personal pride in their accomplishments? Have they no one that loves them?
The most effective way to stop name calling is to ignore the children who stoop to that level.

It's actually rather comical the way the term "leftist" is endlessly thrown around in this very forum. Like what, it's supposed to elicit some sort of angry response?
At least in the old days, long gone (and far gone) members such as Stan would come out with... "left wing commie pinko pantywaist boys". [This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 02-10-2022).]

Being totally frank here... when people use the term leftist, it may have a negative connotation, but it's not intentionally meant as an insult any more than we are simply describing a group of people that we vehemently disagree with. There are people who are left-leaning, Democrats, etc... people who are left of center if you will. And then there are people who are leftists, e.g., people who believe there are more than 2+ genders (let alone 67 of them), people who believe in normalizing pedophilia, people who are REALLY interested and excitedly support abortion above and beyond perhaps a view that it's horrible but they reluctantly support it... people like that, we call "leftists."[This message has been edited by 82-T/A [At Work] (edited 02-10-2022).]

So in other words, ANYONE who doesn't walk lock-step with a certain group of individuals in O/T is labeled a "leftist". Got it.
