Ok thanks - just was testing out "view" count issue with a friend's short video that he recently uploaded. (Not that one I shared above - that one was a discount code folks could use to get that machine a few years ago.)

I watched it 3 times.
FYI, there's a good paper that was written by Google, and another by a group of AI/ML students that go into detail about the Deep Neural Network algorithms that are used. Just do a search for: "YouTube Algorithm PhD Paper" and you'll get a couple.
