Inflation costing you $276 a month (Page 1/1)

Sounds about right.

I went shopping and spent $300 at the grocery store (about $250 on food, the rest was pet/toiletry) on the 31st.

I am out of food after dinner tonight. Gotta go shopping tomorrow.

250 bucks for 12 days...and that's just "regular" meals, no high-end steaks or anything. Burgers, sausages, pasta, fish, chicken, a small pork roast, produce, (7 bucks for 10lbs of potatoes, I damn near sheet)

That's right. That $8/lb steak, the farmer got some where between $1.10/lb and $2.00/lb. And it took him only 15 months to do it.

We buy cattle corn a couple times a week in 50 lb. bags. The price is up about 40% over a year ago.
I'm glad I'm not feeding a big herd.

And corn and soybean harvest 2021 were 2nd highest and highest on record.. so it's not a case of decreased supply.
