Image shows Feb 27. I don't know what date today is in Mississippi but today is only Feb 23 here in Texas.
(You're probably not old enough to have ever served under or talked to a China Marine. My CW04 CO at Millington was a China mounted Marine)

Ya got me, didn't pay attention to the dates. And, you're right, I'm not quite that old.

after their break, they moved to a smaller room (the one with the open bar in it) and set up as a jazz ensemble.
They were very good. Gave some of the older ladies a thrill and danced with them.
