An Invitation to those who like being in the wind. (Page 1/1)

I am hosting a wind therapy session in early April. In a conversation with another Fiero enthusiast, we discussed this event when he suggested I should invite my Fiero friends. I'm not sure how much interest (if any) Fiero folks will have but, I agreed and here is the invitation.
Here is my invite to anyone interested.

Mississippi Spring Fling (a social gathering) is set.

1-3 April, 2022

It's been a long winter and with all the different distractions, it's time for us to have a little fun. I have pre-arranged for and scheduled some great riding weather this year so, plan on it (but bring your rain gear just in case.

Ground Zero will be Double Tree by Hilton,,I have negotiated a discounted rate from their normal rates. This is an active weekend here in Hattiesburg, there are other events also going on here.

Rates are as follows:
$99.00 + tax without breakfast in their restaurant
$109.00 + tax with breakfast for two people per room

Reservation cutoff dates for these rates is 3/20/2022, after that any rooms will go for their regular rate of $159.00 + Tax and up.

Doubletree by Hilton Hattiesburg, MS
10 Gateway Drive
Hattiesburg, MS 39402

601-296-0302

The backup facility:

Candlewood Suites
9 Gateway Drive
Hattiesburg, MS 39402

When you call to make reservations, be sure to ask for the Hub City Valkyries discount.

Double Tree has it's own restaurant and bar for those interested. Candlewood Suites has in room kitchenettes.

Currently, Mac, Warlock and Punisher have volunteered to let anyone that wants to ride follow them to discrete destinations.
What happens in Hattiesburg, stays in Hattiesburg.

I have arranged for a designated motorcycle parking area for us and a wash area where the hotel will provide water, a hose and towels to dry bike or bodies off with at the wash area.

There is fuel available from several different fuel stations very close to GZ and several other eating establishments a very short ride away.

We of Hub City Valkyries are looking forward to seeing all of our two, three and four wheeled friends again, we don't care what you ride or how you get here, just plan on a good time.

I would ask everyone that attends to please notify me if attending. I'll be keeping that list here:
http://www.valkyrieforum.co.../topic,120774.0.html

Currently attendance is just over a hundred folks with riders coming from 14 different states.

It has been brought to my attention that some folks are needing "roommates". I highly encourage those folks to post that in this thread. I'm happy to assist however I can but, can't promise anything.

Ground Zero blocked rooms at Doubletree have all been taken (with the exception of a few King Suite Rooms), I'm glad I negotiated with the facility next door (across the parking lot) for the same pricing now.

I have made arrangements with the facility next door as a backup facility. All with two beds for the same price.
Am happy to assist anyone as much as I can to make this a fun event for anyone that wants to come.

Honestly, I don't have expectations of many (if any) Fieros rolling into the parking lot or going with us on our ride on some curvy roads but, wanted folks to know this event is open to all.
