I know there are supply train issues now, but strangeness flew over my house today (Page 1/2)

I know there are some supply train shortages, but this is getting ridiculous. I didn't have my phone with me but it was loud, slow, pretty low (1500-2000' maybe) and tho I have seen lots of single engine planes, this airplane seemed to be missing some pretty important parts.

One wing was definitely longer than the other and the shortie was squared off at the end... and appeared to be completely missing a prime mover, tho there was something that may be a mount of some kind......

There is a Warbirds group on Farcebook. A few days ago, someone there posted a picture of an aircraft that looked something like that. (Well, at least it was asymmetrical. I don't quite remember all the details.)
One of the strangest things I have ever seen. First thing that crossed my mind was "Why?"

I was thinking it was a German design, but I could be wrong.

During WWII, the Germans experimented with an offset airplane. The engine was in the front of the main fuselage and the cabin was offset to one side.

It wasn't experimental. It was operational at one point.

Blohm & Voss BV-141

I don't know of any flying examples of the BV-141 still remaining anywhere, so this is what Don might have seen (?):

Rutan "Boomerang"

That black box on the wing was probably full of covid vaccine doses.

I'll give that all the consideration it warrants, which was less time than it took to type this.
