Ain't it strange
When everything you wanted
Was nothing that you wanted
In the end
Ain't it strange
When everything you dreamt of
Was nothing that you dreamt of
In the end
Take my house, take the car, take the clothes
But you can't take the spirit, take the spirit, take the spirit
But you can't
Ain't it strange
When everything you wanted
Was nothing that you wanted
In the end
Ain't it strange
When everything you dreamt of
Was nothing that you dreamt of
In the end
Take my house, take the car, take the clothes
But you can't take the spirit, take the spirit, take the spirit
But you can't
Take the spirit, take the spirit, take the spirit
Ain't it strange
When everything you wanted
Was nothing that you wanted
In the end
Have a nice day.

I think its cool seeing people on the rise or before they get real famous, when it all seems most sincere

I always liked them. Wish I could have understood a damn word they were singing though.

Zombie

Zombie is probably my favorite Cranberries recording. Being the descendant of Irish Catholics, this song hits hard. The raw emotion of Dolores' voice is riveting.

Now please don't hate on me for this, but I occasionally get the names of the berry bands mixed up.

My favourite "performance" of theirs was in err maybe 1994....they were a no show as a support act for at least a few tour dates. It may have been supporting Crowded House .. maybe and my ole muckers Blink (no not that one) got the support slot instead
