Background:
A friend of ours, T-Nu, creates Youtube videos about crafting. His latest project involves little resin space invaders. So we made this little game to go along with his video (that is coming out this weekend.) https://volttherobot.itch.io/t-nu-invaders
note: Because it is a "new" file, (not downloaded often) Windows and/or your browser may freak out a little. Those of you who have been bored and tried out my stuff in the past are aware of this issue. ---------------------------------------
This "game" is a little Collaboration with T-Nu, from Cajun Craftastrophe. His latest video is about crafting resin space invaders, so we conjured this up to go along with it. He sent us some audio, graphics (the invaders and other characters are scans of his resin creations) , and some videos.
Setting:
T-Nu is sitting at his computer about to play some video games. Daddy is looking over his shoulder. You control the player using the arrow keys and the space bar shoots.
The game itself IS playable, but its more about the 'back-and-forth" between father and son. It's worth "beating the game" and also losing, to hear the dialog. If you haven't heard of T-Nu or his channel, PLEASE check it out, its great! and...Subscribe!

The game is about 30 MB. Game length is about 5 minutes. Installs into the Program Files folder. Tosses a desktop shortcut on the desktop*. Comes with an uninstaller.
Hope you enjoy it.
*depending on the OS and permissions
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please let me know if you DL it, and if you noticed any glaring bugs.

Ha! very cool.. Always enjoyed a game of Space Invaders..
I'll give it a go.. If i can fit it into my schedule of playing Elden Ring... lol... Damn game has taken over my life..
I'll have to give you a copy of my fighting game i made years ago.. I made a few actually, but my last one was my best one..
It was based on Dragon Ball Z.. It was pretty fun..
I tried to make a light saber dueling game too with star wars characters (duh!) .. It didn't turn out quite how i wanted it.. Couldn't quite figure out how to make the sabers deflect off each other when using blocking moves. But the combat system i came up with was pretty robust and you could combo in and out of all kinds of attacks. Plus you had force powers to use..[This message has been edited by Jonesy (edited 03-19-2022).]
