I'm running out of wifi connections on the router, so I want to try something.
I like working with a TV going on silly horror movies. SO, I want to hook the second screen up to the desktop computer and run Tubi (or YouTube, or whatever) on that while I work on the man screen.
Meaning separate sound and picture need to go to the second TV/Monitor.
Can it be done ? I have 2 monitor ports on the computer but both are on-board graphics, no video card.
Not a HUGE deal if I have to sacrifice audio on the working screen, so long as I got my movies and dont have to keep juggling which devices are hooked up to the wifi at any one time.

Running two monitors with one being your desktop and the other a video feed shouldn't be a problem. Heck, I was doing that in 1999. Your onboard display adapter should have some sort of control center. In regards to the audio, you obviously wouldn't want two different feeds playing at the same time, not if you wish to retain your sanity. There will be some means of individual audio control in the Volume Mixer.

Nearly all video "cards" w/ HDMI ports output video and sound in those ports. Many video "cards" w/ DisplayPort also does this but hard to find monitors w/ sound and "normal" TV rarely supports this.
DVI and others don't support Sound.
Using sound on second screen is harder... Windows default try to put all sound on 1 output device.
But some programs will allow to output to another screen at same time. Example: MPC-HC is under View/Options/playback/output/audio rendering Normal is "1: System Default" but can change to any other sound output.
E2A--> Notes: Many programs have problems using "Full Screen," as in Full screen w/o a window showing, on any display while doing anything on the other screen. Many programs have problems dragging a window to another screen. may seem to work until you resize the window or use full screen after dragging.

If you are setting up the second monitor as a desktop extension (one big desktop) where you simply start Youtube on your main monitor and drag it over to the 2nd monitor, I believe the sound will still come from your main speakers.

Yes, just dragging a window, the sound will be same system default output.
You have to edit program setting like above to move sound output. But Not all programs allow this.
I have to use separate sound channels for many AV jobs... Example: Some businesses want a monitor w/ sound on other side of wall etc to advertise whatever crap on computer to run other things.
A lot of programs are written for 1 screen and have problems w/ 2 or more like above problem w/ full screen. Worse if other screens are not exact same.

As theogre said, it really depends on the application. Some applications let you define the input/output for sound while others will use the OS default. My video card supports sound and my main display supports it. I also have a sound "card" that I can feed speakers that I did have on my second monitor (removed them to clean up my desk, didn't work now I just have room for other crap.)
But for most of my stuff I use bluetooth head phones so I can be mobile and not jerk them off my head when I forget and stand up

When I said "silly movies" that wasn't quuuuiiiiiittttteeeee what I was thinking of.
Now if we could change that to "Sharktopus vs Pteracuda" I might watch it.
