Pretty expected. I mean everyone has to know this, but they still just let their kid game all day and survive on eating sugar.

article
"Now, though, their withdrawal has grown more severe. “I have students post pandemic who will sit and just stare at the screen,” he said. “They’re so disengaged from everything.”
Teachers describe swaths of kids nearly anesthetized by technology, socially limited, and often displaying disruptive behavior. It’s not only teaching them that’s hard — it’s reaching them on any level. The screen dependence that preceded the pandemic seems to have gotten worse"

Add to that they are teaching kids to question themselves, "am I a girl, a boy, something else..what do I want to be"..." but I cant say that word or this word, or try to decribe how I feel" ... Many dont have a mom and a dad, and meanwhile are being taught that is ok.
It has to be mind numbing for the kids, they are probably detaching and medicating themselves.
Sad.
