Any tech guys remember these phone cables? I was on the cutting edge side of buying, selling, and nodding though, so unless it was built by HTC (Palm Treo was) I didn't use it. I swapped to Samsung sometime after or around 2010. I don't recall all the specifics from back that far, but the fact no one else had reliable push notifications was HUGE. What would you possibly need the cable for? A phone that age is at best 3G GSM. The cable you're describing sounds more like the phone was a feature phone, so probably not even 3G. Early 2000 could be GAIT, TDMA. GSM, or even CDMA.
