Got the 'munchies'..? Wingstop has gone '420' but there's only one more day. Friday. (Page 1/1) |

Though Wingstop is no stranger to weed culture (their words, not mine), it is the first year they've created a dedicated flavor for 4/20. The Blazed & Glazed flavor is available beginning Monday, April 18, through April 22 at locations nationwide and the brand's official food truck, which will be parked at Hippie Hill in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on April 20. BYOJ(oint).
The wing slinger's weed-inspired Glazed & Blazed flavor was crafted with hemp seeds, terpenes, and strawberry and cayenne pepper to capture notes reminiscent of the holiday while still keeping things legal and even leaves a mouth-tingling sensation.
"Some of our biggest fans aren't just pairing their favorite wings with seasoned fries," Chief Growth Officer Marisa Carona said in the press release."And while many brands are starting to give a nod to 4/20, we're going higher than ever this year by dedicating an entire flavor to it. As the cannabis industry grows, so does Wingstop's desire to engage this audience."
Uh... I did not author those three paragraphs myself.
This is a Public Service Announcement forum post.
I will probably go for it later today, or if not today, tomorrow. After that, it looks most likely not to be available. Unless it hasn't all been used up. But who would want to procrastinate and take such a chance? Not me.

Based on this description and your posted image, it sounds like something found at the bottom of a dumpster.

Thanks for that. There's a caption to go with that picture:

To make what could easily be a long story short, I munched my way through five of Wingstop's classic (on the bone) chicken wings with the 420-commemorative Blazed & Glazed flavor option.
It's a sauce-centric flavoring that leaves your hands in urgent need of a cleanup afterwards. A very "wet" flavor option.
I didn't have any difficulty munching through all five of these wings, but Blazed & Glazed is not something I would ask for again. There was something discordant between the hemp and the terpenes and the cayenne pepper and the strawberry.
As a regular Wingstop patron who also lives within a stone(r's) throw of San Francisco, I felt it was a cultural obligation on my part to partake in the Blazed & Glazed experience.
Don't bogart that wing.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 04-21-2022).]
