Husqvarna Automower (Page 1/4)

I have a Husqvarna Automower 430x that I'm using to mow my lawn. My home is new construction, on about 3/4 acre. Being new construction, the yard is complete trash so I'm currently in the process of planting Bermuda grass to make it nicer. The Automower does a great job of cutting the grass, I am very impressed with its performance so far. If it notices the grass is a bit thick, it'll start to spiral cut the area automatically. It's so quite you hardly notice it and the neighbors are quite jealous.

There is some growing pains with it though, it does tend to get stuck in a certain area in the ditch in the front yard. I am trying to fix that from happening, once I do, it'll be smooth moving forward. I'll try to post some photos tomorrow.

You need to put a miniature rider on top, rodeo rider, dirt bike rider, spaceman, something to make people laugh.

Very cool. You're a braver person than I am. (Or else you have it severely "constrained".)

We still mow ours manually. (We live on a farm. A lot of our grass is reclaimed pasture land. We have a 48" Husqvarna rider and a 52" Grasshopper zero turn. Keep them both busy.)

I guess it's safer than a Flymo Hover Mower.

This Automower, how much acreage can it mow? I've got a couple acres.
Although, it would be financially pretty silly for me to not use the Kubota tractor and mower I bought to mow with, having the allergies I have, it's not a task I look forward to.

This one is good for about 3/4 acre which is about what I have. There are others that can do 1.25a I think and you can also set up multiple mowers for your lot.

Will it mow around sleeping dogs and cats? I'm getting tired of digging graves for the wife's pets..................
Went to the Husqvarna Automower website, couldn't find warranty mentioned anywhere.
Took a while but, I finally found the warranty information on this robotic mower.

It'll bump into them, turn around, and go somewhere else. I bought mine that was a dealer demo on eBay. The amount of time it saves is remarkable and I'm sold on these for life. I'd gladly buy another when the time comes and I've only used this for about two weeks.

My lawn is very ugly, I'm working on putting down some Bermuda seed. But here's a photo.

I'm curious, how's it deal with water?

I also mow the property behind my home just to keep it cleaned up without some of the ugly ass weeds that grow here in Mississippi. It's not mine but, I don't really care. There's a pond on that property and I'd hate to think that automated robotic mower would try to go surfing or diving...........
