Ninety-Nine Year Blues was written and recorded by Julius Daniels in 1927. The first recording I heard was done by Hot Tuna about 50 years ago. I posted both the original and the Hot Tuna version in another thread last week.
This is my take. All instruments are played by me except for the drums, which I created with LMMS.

Pretty cool Williegoat. You are a man of many talents. I play violin too... maybe one day we can do something together, though I'm more classically inclined, with the odd Civil War era song here and there.
I like some of that old American stuff from the 20s...

Thank you. A few years back, I did a song with Heybjorn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSD7-7sY5dc Do you ever listen to Mark O'Connor? In my opinion, he is the greatest fiddle player alive and possibly the greatest ever. He was touring with Stephane Grappelli before he was 20 years old.

Thank you. I often use LMMS to put together drum tracks, but for recording and mixing, I really like Ardour.[This message has been edited by williegoat (edited 05-24-2022).]
