This was supposed to show around 10PM Pacific time so I convinced myself to go outside for a peak. We stayed out about 30 minutes and saw maybe 5 or 6, fairly bright meteors, and several satellites. Not great but still worth seeing. Anybody else give it a shot??

We watched from around 11pm central time until 12:45 and saw quite a few meteors but nothing like what had been hoped for. I would not even compare it favorably to a good Perseid shower.
Oh well...

Such a disappointment, not so much the lessor meteor shower but the fact that no one meteor managed to fall on DC.  Another opportunity lost.
