Rainbows.........Contrails........Aiyeeeeeeeeeeee!

Back in 2011, I went boat camping on Trinity lake...Rained to the west of me the first day...rained to the east of me the second day...Then it was sunny and dry on the third day, so I put away the tarp and side-curtains.....

Woke the forth day to the sound of....rain on the tent....jumped up and started getting dressed ("Gotta get the tarp on the boat!") but everything was reddish-orange ("What is this?") Ran down to the beach- rain- mainly virga was lit by the morning sun....and a double rainbow- absolutely stunning.



So I stood there with rain running down my face, then finally, "Oh yeah- get the camera!" Took some pics and then stood there with rain running down my face- "Oh yeah- get the tarp on the boat!"

That was the last time Trinity was full.....it is now 150 feet down....which is where it is 7-8 years out of the last decade.

My "get the camera" moment with a double rainbow was last November. The double rainbow shots were nothing spectacular, but I zoomed in to capture a *UFO entering the prism of light.

Long ago, I wanted to get a small amphibian aircraft and fly around the world landing on different lakes...Recently, I have been seeing one of these circling around Oakland airport every other day....Someone is trying to torture me!

Well, it is gay pride month.

Why was that truck spraying water ? Are you sure it was water ?

I got stopped one time for emptying water from tow tank while on an interstate. Someone called in on me and law dogs found me.
