I was driving out in the country hear near Lakeland, and there was an old Chevy C-10 pickup with a hot-rodded V8, and a ~2021 GMC Yukon at the light. Both of them floored it and kept on it until they were doing about 80 or so. I was actually amazed at how quick the GMC Yukon was. I assume it had an LS something in it. But I'm sure their fuel economy is less than desirable.

I haven't driven fast since my daughter was born.

Nobody talks that way anymore.

It's like a lost American accent or something.

"Tune-ups" have been useless for most vehicles for Decades.
Most engines have some type of EFI and often some version of DIS where you can't adjust anything.

Unless you have obviously bad parts like F'd ICM etc... "Tune ups" just replace plugs etc. and often you can't tell after because most times you replace good parts.

You think pulling plugs on V6 Fiero? Many you can't replace plugs w/o huge headaches and very high labor cost because buried under intake and other parts.
Even w/o that, most have OE Platinum or better plugs and last easily 100,000 miles or longer vs just about any aftermarket plugs.

I LOVE his delivery. He did a lot of narrations, I believe... Shows and commercials.
