I'm not totally opposed to this being part of the overall curriculum, but it should be not be involved with "Math".
This isn't about changing names and sports and jobs in math word problems.
This is doing the stuff one their website instead of reading stories and working on practice math problems...

What this is is a company that got the Dept of Ed to buy their stuff, (200 million worth ("supplies" and "training") and then every school will have 500-1,000 sets of it and most will remain in its shrink wrap...
The schools are FINALLY bringing back phonics, which actually works...
And they started correcting students when they made a mistake in math - "2+2 is 4, NOT 5... NOT "amost 5"...
it'll peter out in a few years and will have wasted a lot of time (which could have been spent on actually educating) and money (same deal)

I thought math and science was racist. It's part of the white colonial patriarchy system of oppression.
There are 'other ways of knowing.' 
The problem with this coddling education of children, along with the digital dropout gap from Covid, there will be a generation of people with no productive skills.
