1. That is for T-568b. Many Panels etc are still T-568a.
Can do either for patch cables when both ends are same type. But must match panel type if terminates other end w/ whatever plugs/receptacles. Is why many receptacles have both a and b labels on them.
Example: Leviton 5G108-RW5
2. Anyone posting above in many workplace can get you HR problems and not just a recent "woke" problem. Same HR problems are big reason why many PC etc have Lock desktop backgrounds and screen savers for 20+ years now in many businesses.------------------
