I really should have adult supervision on the interwebs (Page 1/1)

I was pretty set on the design for the bike project. Frame and add-ons are 85% done, foot boards in place and tested for clearance, I'm slowly starting to install the electrics (still gotta modify the motor though)....

And then I find a 1908 Indian Board Track Racer...

WAIT....WHAT ????

I've got slim folding foot pegs instead of boards. I've got a couple of spring seats on hand. Lower and longer, huh ?... Can't weld in the condo so lets see if Amazon has a way around that...

140Kg ? Thats 100 pounds or so more than my fat ass weighs. It'll hold.....SOLD !!

<sigh>

And THIS is why projects end up taking me forever and costing twice what they started out as...

It's called "Mission Creep" MEM. I'm sure you've dealt with it before. Just wasn't you causing your problems.

I'm sure it'll look great when (if) you get done!

Not quite last weekend, but Willie was right....

Tarantula frame to start with.

69cc CDI (HEY, it's not 1908-fairbanks-magneto anymore !)

Kim is gonna hang me up by the nuts over this one !!!!! That'll make 3 half-done projects around here and JUST like Fiero's, NONE of them run !

Willie, it's your fault for suggesting it....no, it's Trudeau's fault for bringing in climate kops and pizzin me off.....no it's, Ah, hell. I am a sucker for anything with teets or tires !!!

Dunno about the tank yet. have to get the motor in there, measure the top clearance and see if I can get a second tube and weld up a torpedo tank or something. Otherwise just print a period-appropriate cover for the stock bolt-on tank.
