Electric Dodge Charllenger. New "muscle" car concept (Page 1/3)

Design wise, i kinda like it. It isn't too outlandish, and looks i think good. I don't like it taking the name, it should become something else. Let the charger and challenger die as ICE cars, bring something NEW as an EV

Here is an audio clip of its fake engine sounds. I'd have to hear it in person, but it sounds pretty bad so far

(thanks cliff for audio uploads!)

**** Dodge. They can keep all of their bloated over priced crap.
They lost all of my potential business when they built a "new" Charger and it was a huge ****ing 4 door sedan.
Then they built a "Cuda" But **** me they can't call it that because the cunts lost the rights to the name.

Not like I will ever by buying a 100% electric car anyway.

I like it better than any electric I've seen, so far.
Would I buy one? Depends upon price and range. Just like any other electric.
I'm not holding my breath.

I had an '09 Challenger R/T. Still miss that car, but it was too big to drive/park anywhere.

When did that happen? All I heard is that they didn't use Barracuda (and, by extension, "Cuda") because Plymouth assumed room temperature a long time ago.

That is bad. Sounds more like a synthesized alley cat.

Here's a video I first posted in O/T eleven years ago, back when Lonely_Potato was still a wee spud.

I have seen a couple Challenger <> Cuda conversions and they look amazing. It was the car they should have built.

Back in 1999, Dodge had a concept Charger that was really good looking- it was a 4-door but did not look like a 4-door....Then Mercedes took over and designed all the cars like a three-year-old did the designing....Finally, Fiat took over and Dodge cars started looking better. I am so glad that Mercedes lost their shirts on the Chryco deal- Arrogant dumb-zhits!

I've seen several, but not in a while. I really like the treatment that they used on the car at the beginning of the video. Almost looks like a Charger grill adapted to the Challenger, but it works well.
I think they should do the "74 style" (quad) Challenger tail lights.

When they were talking about a re-style, back in 2012, I was hoping they'd build a Road Runner/GTX conversion. It would actually fit the size of the platform, better.
The only complaint I had about my Challenger was that it was too big.

But that's all water under the bridge, now....

Something about that picture reminds me of a Ford LTD.

Could anything make less sense, than wiring up simulated engine noises for an EV?
