I really enjoy the 4 original Tremors movies (Don't waste any time on 5-on (Crap!) The fourth one actually went back in time to the origin of the town of "Perfection"- originally called "Rejection"....and Michael Gross, who plays the survivalist Burt Gummer in the first three movies, plays his great grandfather, Hiram Gummer, who is an easterner, and has NEVER fired a gun in his life.

At one point in the movie, Hiram shows back up in Rejection, with a wagon load of guns...one was ridiculously huge......Later, I read up on that "Punt Gun"...a real (Extremely large) shotgun, over 8 feet long, weighing 94 lbs...They were used back in the 19th and early 20th century to kill large numbers of water fowl for commercial harvesting.....

Yeah the punt guns were some baaad shotguns for sure. They were not held like the picture shows tho'....
