Anyone read it, "back in the day" ? I always found it "felt different" than other magazines. Think it was printd with metallic inks and high-quality paper...
Lots of interesting stuff in there. Worth grabbing them from a torrent site or somethin'.

I vaguely remember browsing them, but TBH in the "magazine days" I was more into the custom machine stuff, Kit Plane, Kit Car, Easy Rider, Iron Horse, ect......or head straight for the adult section

Yes, I loved OMNI magazine.

There were three magazines that I got as a kid when I had the opportunity...

OMNI
Popular Mechanics
Compute!

I saved all of my Compute Magazines from an entire year, and every once in a while I like to go back through them, they are awesome.

I tossed all my Popular Mechancis and Omni magazines, but they were fantastic. OMNI... if I remember correctly, was even bigger than the other magazines. It was thick... really high quality too. Lots of space and ethereal type articles... loved it.

I got Highlights too... but that stopped around the time I was about 12.

All the magazines of my youth contained either women, cattle or bullets.

Yes, had a subscription to it for years. I was always a Sci-Fi fan since way back and Omni published a lot of good work.
Didn’t you use to work for the publishing company or its affiliateTDA?

Yes, unfortunately, it was a while after they stopped publishing Omni. They were going to have a tv show and other things...the guy who was behind it passed away and those things never came to be...

I had a subscription for a year or two, and I loved it. It was very interesting.

It used to be one of my favorites. Had a subscription for years. That, and Car and Driver.
Strangely enough, it was also owned by the owner of Penthouse.

That's an interesting website, but they don't do a real good job on faces or people for that matter..... seems to have a problem with how many legs a human has.
