China has Officially endorsed development of Flying Cars:

The government has formulated a policy for flying cars, and in China that means things are about to get very serious. Let me put it simply, based on my extensive understanding of Chinese industrial trends: Policy plan = money = R&D = waste = more waste = 1 million brands = that doesn’t matter = some genuine innovation = the smartest stick around = flying cars for everybody.

The plan deals with all sorts of transportation-related matters: technology, “intelligent” this-and-that, construction, safety, and green-energy. Flying cars are mentioned in Section 4 (Main Tasks) Article 2 (Improve the level of autonomy in key technologies of transportation equipment). The text says: “Deploy flying car research and development to break through technologies such as the fusion of aircraft and cars, and the free switching between flight and ground driving.”

They're obviously NOT there yet, but closer than anyone else. Most look like electric helicopters, but the "Car" part is part of the plan.

Would you accept one made in China?

Uh huh... just imagine this, only in three dimensions, directly over you.

Looks a lot like downtown Tarrana, but calmer.

Just when you thought china's TikTok was destroying the U.S. Now they're gonna unleash flying cars on our society. I guess destroying us mentally via TikTok wasn't enough. Now they're going to destroy us physically too with cars literally going wherever they want them to go.

I'm not too concerned. I've been in far busier skies at low altitudes than what some of you are portraying.

Flying cars are already here ! (take-off is at about 1:40. It was OK. Landing was kinda sucky.)

Manned drones don't count as flying cars. If your only input is the destination then you are not flying anything.

Anyone who has ever spent any time driving in SoCal, specially between LA and Berdoo, should have a healthy, rational fear of anything involving Chinese and cars.
