In a post shared to rally driver Ken Block's Hoonigans Instagram account tonight, the organization wrote: "It's with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed.
Please respect the family's privacy at this time while they grieve."

Rest In Peace, Mr. Block. We'll all miss you.

Sad news.

I saw Ken Block race in 2008 at the Lake Superior Rally outside of Houghton Michigan, he was in a league of his own, there was Ken, and there was everybody else. I took that picture right as a huge rock hit me in the gut. That was also the first time I saw the then new Subaru STI, the same body style I later bought.

Later on I saw his crazy Gymkhana videos, the guy was a phenomenal driver.

Ken Block’s 1,400+ HP “Hoonicorn V2”
I admired the Mustang that he built,
like, as if he read my mind, or I transmitted my unrealized subconscious dreams to him telepathically over the course of fifty years.
I envied him for his ability to make real his desires, and achieve such feats, like the Pike's Peak runs.
Sad that he had such an accident outside the realm of his usual competition.
Travel well Ken Block.
Rest in Peace.

Well the man lived the "extreme" life style, but looks like it finally caught up to him.. Shame..

Feel bad for his wife and kids.
