Tim Bogert, one of my favorite bass players since I was a kid, died almost exactly two years ago.

I was surprised to hear that Jeff Beck was 78 years of age. I always thought he was only about 10 years older than me. What... wait a sec... I'm 67 years old??!!! When the hell did that happen! Damn.

A lot of the younger members of this forum have probably never heard of The Yardbirds. Fantastic super-group from the 60's. This is the Jeff Beck that I remember...
