In the 1st video, I found myself continually leaning into the corners. lol
In the 2nd video, I found myself continually expecting the guy to end up in the front grill of an oncoming truck. The guy's definitely got skills, and balls... but man oh man, he's pushing his luck!

Cesar Zumba Videos Looking closely, intently, focusing on the steering inputs, you can derive some facts about the kart's front axle geometry. Far too much caster, toe, king-pin inclination. Perhaps the brakes are dragging, or it's 40kg too heavy. Maybe the rear axle is bent from a jump, and is toeing in. Way too much drag.

Time: 1:10 Like driving with the brakes applied, but it's just incorrect front axle geometry.

The steering geometry factors are incorrect, generating frictional drag.

Reduction of rolling resistance, maximize air pressure. Use light oil in place of axle grease. Reduce preload on bearings to minimum. Minimize bearing diameter to practical limit. ... Volcano Racers Flywheel KERS. Bicycle chain driven through on-board step-up gearset, like a siren. An automotive flywheel roughly ~20 kg, machined and repurposed to deliver and regain kinetic energy while travelling down a mountain racecourse in Ecuador, climbing hills even. Say, 10K rpm, wound up to speed at the race start, propelling ~ 300 kg pilot, co-pilot and racer to quick starts, chain driven karts, auto transmission one-way roller clutches.
Yep, that would work real good. The flywheel spent at the end of the race.
All that rocking and rolling on the karts going to a better purpose, spinning up that, those, flywheels. Sure, the wooden handles fit into a rack and pinion to drive the input shaft of the gearbox, climbing grades. Volcano Racers. The Brotherhood of Extra Ordinary Gentlemen. ' Can we build them out of wood ? '
... Ecuador Volcanoes Parque Nacional Cajas Now, that would be an epic race, downhill from the summit. ...
How they are built, for those brave and adventurous spirits bound for Ecuador, with the ambition to race on the Volcano Circuit. Could be fun, be careful tho, it is very dangerous, mortally dangerous. A bucket list addendum.
' Sure, I'll build the racer in California, then load the trailer and haul it to Ecuador to compete on the ' La Muerte ' course. ' The Darien Gap, where the road stops. ' Then I'll ship the trailer, racer and van to Esmeraldas or Guayaquil, then drive to the course, yeah, a Pacific steamer to Ecuador. ' ' Fly there with the racer, support equipment, and team, then rent a box truck to haul the racer to Las Mercedes. ' Yeah, an adventure. Something out of the ordinary, not the same old tourist traps and gift shops.

In that second video...How does he avoid hitting a pebble-( the board stops and you go for tumble)
And....if you want to see some good skateboarding in a movie, try watching "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" which came out back in 2013...It sort of bombed- the critics all hated it (No drug abuse or rapes and murders)...My GF dragged me to it...was a bit slow until the Walter Mitty has to get on a helo with a drunk pilot- then it grabbed me and would not let go.
Main star is Ben Stiller- never really liked him until I saw this movie....His facial expression when he gets on the Helo- a mixture of exhilaration and terror- just blew me away. He also directed the movie. I personally think it will be considered a great movie in the future (I have an extra DVD copy so I can lend it out- so far approx' 20 times- everyone comes back and states "I never heard of this movie- it was really good!")
