Thats a pretty radical rake to it. 6 inches over about 18" I need some sort of "bodywork" to go under the bottom tube, and hold the foot-pegs (peddles are just for show and legal reasons. Functional (barely) and nothing more. Never be used. Havent got a CLUE what to do with it...I can do some sort of small box. I can do a cut-out of plywood, cover it with the same leather the rest of the stuff is going, or even varnish then paint to match the frame. Both of those are "free" options. or I can blow probably 150 bucks and have some sort of skull pattern made from 1/4 steel and welded on. Thats going to add another month to the project just to cover the cost on that. If I do go with the plywood route, how to attach it so it looks decent and is still sturdy enough to hold the pegs ? It's 1/2 baltic birch so strength isn't an issu), just the sturdyness of the mounting. Pegs will be about 12 inches below and 6 in front of that bend in the lower tube.
Forget the seat shown, thats just a junk piece sitting there for measurements. Actual will have a decent backrest to it.

is that a Worksman trike? ------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)
